It's a tale that every young person can relate to. Of chasing your dreams and not listening to your folks. Of sometimes forgetting that they've always been there rooting for you. We wanted to give Dove a much deeper emotional resonance for Chinese New Year 2015, so we found a story based on a homophone of the brand Dove (or De-Fu in Chinese). De-Fu in Chinese means to get fortune, and it is a very traditional practice for family members to create their own new year decorations with the word Fu, or fortune. Watch the spot, I hope it brings a happy tear to your eye. It became the most watched film for CNY 2015, beating the traditional stalwart Pepsi.
